Mahan Airlines flew on its maiden journey across the Iranian skies in the early 90s. In its initial days, Mahan Airlines conducted its services on just a couple of routes and a fleet comprising of an equal number of Tupolev aircrafts. Over the years aircrafts were added to its fleet and this led to the airline adding new places to its itinerary and connected far flung destinations. Its fleet now comprises of 3 Airbus A310, 3 Airbus A320, 6 Airbus A300, 1 Boeing 747 and a couple of McDonnell Douglas MD-80.At present its flight operations cover as many as 12 countries.
