Air Saguenay was initially known as Saguenay Air Services, a pilot training school, owned by Saguenay Aero Club. Mr. Peter Schoch took over the company in the 1960s and thus began a journey of development and expansion. The company was renamed as Air Saguenay in the mid 1970s after its merger with Gagnon Air Services.
